Plumbing website audit, rebuild and extension, Vancouver
4.8 stars, 700+ reviews. Full site audit first, then rebuild, then extend.
existing pages rebuilt, then new pages over 3 months
Source: Build record, Aug 2026

The starting point
The client is a plumbing company in Vancouver with a strong reputation already in place: 4.8 stars across more than 700 reviews. Reputation was not the gap.
They also already had a site, with 46 pages on it, so this build did not start from zero. It started with a different question from most of the portfolio: before adding anything, which of the existing pages should be rebuilt, and what is missing?
What we built
A full site audit was delivered before any building started: what already ranked, what was broken, and what was worth rebuilding rather than replacing. It arrived as a written document, and it is the client's to keep.
46 existing pages were rebuilt first. Then 84 new pages were added over 3 months.
The order is the point. A page that already exists has history with Google, and rebuilding it keeps that history working. Deleting it and starting again throws it away. Extending comes second, once the pages that were already there are carrying their weight.
How the build ran
- 01
The audit, before any quote for building
We went through the site page by page: what ranks, what is broken, what should be rebuilt rather than replaced. The problems came back in priority order, in writing.
- 02
Rebuild what exists
46 pages were rebuilt before a single new one was added, so the pages that already had history came first.
- 03
Extend in monthly phases
84 new pages were added over 3 months. Building in phases means the early pages are live and indexing while later ones are still being written, and each phase is scoped against the keyword map before it starts.
- 04
Measured from the first phase
Search Console goes on from the first phase, and every new page carries a lead form tagged with its page, so an enquiry can be traced to the page that earned it.
The rebuild what exists, then extend pattern, and the audit first approach. If your business is established, well reviewed and already has a site with some history, this is the build closest to yours.
It is also why every Markingo engagement starts with the audit, whether or not the client already has 46 pages. The process page sets out the 5 stages in full, and the audit is the first of them.

What we publish, and what we hold back
The client's name and domain are withheld until they approve being named, and review figures are rounded so the client cannot be identified from them. The page counts and the 3 month window come from the build record, August 2026.
We have not published traffic or lead numbers for this build. When we do, they will come from the client's own exports, with the source named, the way the results case does.
