01 · Where it started

The starting point

The client is a commercial electrical contractor in the Indianapolis metro. The work covers lighting upgrades, EV charging, generators, and data and low voltage, for commercial buildings rather than homes.

This build is broader than a page library. It covers the front of the business as well as the pages behind it: the homepage, the logo, a careers page, and city and service pages. It is the 1 build in the portfolio delivered entirely on WordPress.

02 · The build

What we built

The homepage was fully redesigned on the client's existing WordPress, rather than moved to a new platform, and the logo was redesigned alongside it. A careers page was built on the same site.

City and service pages are live. The sample listed below covers commercial electrician pages for Carmel, Fishers and Greenwood, and pages for commercial electrical services, commercial electrical maintenance and access control systems in Indianapolis, plus the careers page.

Carmel, Fishers and Greenwood are separate searches from Indianapolis, made by people who expect a contractor to name their town. Each gets its own page rather than a line in a service area list.

03 · The method

How the build ran

  1. 01

Built where the site already lives

Every page we build sits on the client's own domain. Here that meant their WordPress: the homepage, the careers page and the city pages all live there, and the client keeps the platform they already run.

  2. 02

Copy and design approved before build

As on every landing page we make, the copy and the design are approved before anything is built, the mobile layout is built first, and every page carries a lead form tagged with the page it sits on.

  3. 03

Brand and site in 1 build

The logo and the homepage were both redesigned in this engagement, alongside the careers page and the city pages, so brand and site changed in 1 piece of work.

  4. 04

Cities as pages, not a list

Each suburb with its own searches gets its own commercial electrician page. The service pages cover the work itself, maintenance and access control included, for the Indianapolis metro.

04 · What this build demonstrates

WordPress delivery, a full homepage redesign, and brand work in the same build. If your site runs on WordPress and you want to keep it there, this is the build that shows the work does not require a new platform.

It also shows the pattern for commercial trades, where the buyer is a facilities team or a building owner searching by town and by service. Our landing pages service covers the homepage side of this, and the landing page system post explains the section order we build to.

What we publish, and what we hold back

The client's name and domain are withheld until they approve being named. The scope comes from the build record, August 2026.

We do not publish before or after numbers for this build. The record holds the scope of the work, not a measured result, so that is all this page claims.
